Comprehensive Assessment

  • The Castellan Tailored Service Plan is based on detailed attic-to-crawlspace, roof-to-foundation assessment of your home created on our initial visit.

  • Assessments are shared with individual homeowners as curated, digital reports available for review 24-7.

  • Assessments used to create prioritized action plan to establish monthly service visit agendas.

  • Home Assessments:

    • Catalog make, model, serial number, and manufacture date for all major systems and appliances to include filter model and size.

    • Ensure electrical panel circuits are properly labeled

    • Ensure water main and spigot valves are properly marked

  • Car Assessments (2 covered with monthly subscription):

    • Thorough inspection of vehicles’ primary systems and documentation of current state of repair.

    • Document manufacturer’s recommended scheduled maintenance - correlate to current status.

    • Capture and log all ODBII codes and cross-reference with OEM Technical Service Bulletins.

    • Washer internal filter clean

    • Hot water heater flush & pressure valve check

    • Refrigerator condenser coil cleaning

    • Fireplace and chimney inspection

  • Semi-annual service:

    • Gutter inspection & cleaning

    • Hose spigot service

    • Smoke and CO detector check

    • Attic and crawlspace inspection

    • Sump pump function check

  • Quarterly service:

    • HVAC filter replacement

    • Refrigerator water filter replacement

    • Kitchen knife sharpening

    • Kitchen counter clean and seal

    • Clean range hood grease filter

  • Monthly inspection:

    • Major appliance function / door seal / leak check

    • Kitchen cabinets & handles

    • Range hood exhaust fan & filter check

    • Door latch and alignment

    • Window & screen check

    • Plumbing function & drain check

    • Light bulb check and replacement

    • Tree limb / brush encroachment

    • Basement entry / window well inspection

  • Quarterly oil and filter change

    • 5 qts Mobil 1 synthetic oil

  • Semi-annual engine air filter replacement

  • Semi-annual cabin filter replacement

  • Annual wiper blade replacement

  • Semi-annual inspection:

    • Tire rotation (if relevant)

    • Brake inspection

    • Drivetrain inspection

    • Charging system function test

    • Onboard computer code check

    • Manufacturer’s Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) review

  • Monthly inspection:

    • Check and top off fluid levels

    • Tire pressure check - Plug repair as needed

    • General function check (wipers, lights) Replace bulbs as needed (sealed units not included)
